After the initial shock of living in a city environment I found that it is quite possible to still show nature, but within an urban environment. For example the above mural is clearly manmade but depicts an ocean scene, taking it all the way from the wall to the pavement.

I recently left my Northland paradise to return to the urban environment of Christchurch, New Zealand. Four years after the destructive earthquakes that have changed the City forever there is still much devastation to be seen - but also beauty if you know how to look.
